QUINTA DE SAN AMARO
We spent years thinking about the possibility of opening a small hotel. We have always enjoyed staying at charming hotels and we thought it was a good opportunity to change our lives and leave the stressful busy life we had in Madrid.
The idea of the restaurant came slightly later. We considered it an excellent addition for a hotel of this type and the area where we are situated. With the restaurant we wanted to offer a quality menu in a pleasant atmosphere, with friendly and efficient service and good value for money.
After looking all over, we found Meaño. It was not very well known by tourists but its location was perfect. On the plot there were several houses which were around one hundred years old and some crumbling walls that may have stood more than twice as long. Figuring out all the details was fun. The construction work was complicated but the result made us feel satisfied and proud to offer it to our guests and friends.
Nowadays we believe that Quinta de San Amaro has fulfilled our expectations. Guests who decide to stay with us experience a Galicia that is rural but well communicated, among Albariño vineyards but only 10 minutes away from the best beaches in the Rias Baixas. On the other hand, our restaurant guests come back frequently and that gives us great satisfaction. All of this would not be possible without our dedication to giving the best service.

From O Grove, Galicia. A self-taught devoted cook. I am in charge of the restaurant. From our kitchen we will do everything possible so that you enjoy our restaurant to the maximum. We will also help you to plan the menus for your small celebrations in our hotel.
